Start spring cleaning now by setting aside items for the rummage sale on Friday,May 31 and Saturday June 1. Donate clean clothing, accessories, shoes, jewelry, bedding, curtains, small appliance, toys, towels, books, white elephant items, etc. Who doesn’t like a great Rummage Sale!

The Ruth Bertrand Memorial Scholarship Application

Any senior high school student in the Class of 2013, who is a member of SUMC, and would be interested in this scholarship to help continue their higher learning education. Applications are due to the Memorial Committee no later than May 12, 2013. Applications are on the table in the narthex.

It isso good to be reminded of this.Thank you to Richard Enghouser and Gordon Moore for removal of the stairs at the end of the education wing and to Ben Reddick and Ben’s son-in-law, Tom Tarte, for building and installing the newstairsRichard Enghouser’s PET scan shows no new cancer. (4/21)Karen Randall’s test showed she does not need surgery for her Crohn’s and the 7 polyps found haveno cancer cells. Turns out they are not true polyps. (4/21)The Worship Committee would like to thank Pat Osborne for ironing the very long white drape for thecross for Easter. We knew it took a lot of work but it looks beautiful. (4/14)
